tagsecretsanta: to @cookidoughlilac I do not own this piece of art/fiction. @navigatorsnorth is the original creator and has agreed to this being posted on this blog for Secret Santa 2017. Christmas Rituals Christmas is all about rituals, even (and especially) for astronauts. For John Tracy, Christmas begins like this: As soon as the clock ticks past midnight on a certain island somewhere in the western Pacific, Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward receives a call. “Merry Christmas Pen!” the apparition in her compact is bright and grinning, cheerfully floating within the characteristic lightness of zero-g. Penny’s answering scowl does not cover her smile. Keep reading This is just fabulous 😁
fanfic
As Il Mago comes to a close (I haven’t finished writing yet and I suspect I will need to rewrite some of what I have written), I thought I would ask all you wonderful peoples what kind of fic you might like me to write next. I can’t guarantee anything, my muse is vagrant and pretty much does whatever it wants to do and completely ignores what I want (though I am getting more commanding in my old age :D). And then there is the issue of characters doing what they want ::eyes Virgil:: But I am interested in what you would actually like to read in the Thunderbirds fandom (I think with my brain in this fandom at the moment, I doubt you’ll get much else out of me, and if you do, I’m liable to fall out of TB fandom and into another one, and then my TB writing will stop 🙁 it happens) So anyway, would you like more adventure, hurt/comfort, whump, romance, humour (very hard to write on demand, but I love it when it works), more piano, arty Virgil, another brother, another ship, Virgil/Kayo, more explosions, less explosions, sexy times, Tracy Island on fire, space, […]
Title: Access Denied Author: Gumnut 24 – 25 Jul 2018 Fandom: Thunderbirds Are Go 2015 Rating: Mature (for some violence) Summary: He found a way. Word count: 5650 Spoilers & warnings: Season 2 in general. Occurs sometime before 2.07 Home on the Range. Also there is some violence in this fic and some bits are kinda creepy. Virgil!Whump Author’s note: Ever wondered how the events of Home on the Range were made possible? Many thanks to the wonderful welcome I have received in this fandom. Here I am again stretching my writing muscles with a fic a little different again from the previous one. I hope you enjoy a little whump, because even I feel sorry for Virgil in this one. My next fic will have to be fluffy to him to make up for it. Ouch! Disclaimer: Mine? You’ve got to be kidding. Money? Don’t have any, don’t bother. Scenes parroted from the episodes are definitely not mine. Chapter 1 “Why does it always have to be snow? I hate snow.” “It’s only water, Gordon. I thought you loved that stuff.” “Only in degrees above zero.” Thunderbird Two banked to port as Virgil sought out a place to land. […]
“Virgil!” There was concern in his brother’s voice. “What’s wrong?” “You okay?” His console flickered in and out of focus for a moment. “Fine. You?” He swallowed. There was bile in his throat. “Not good.” There was a silence on the other end of the line, before Scott’s controlled voice returned. “Can you fly?” The world was spinning again. Then it flickered as Scott’s hologram appeared on the dash. “Oh, god, Virgil.” “I’m sorr..y.” And the whole world tipped sideways. No-one is losing their Dad today
Apparently ‘A Good Day’ hasn’t finished with me. An epilogue has sprouted and is mostly written. “Hey, I never said there was anything wrong with you.” His lips twisted. “Though I have considered the possibility of mutant genes to explain the size of your shoulders. Look at those things, you sure you’re not using that exo-suit to disguise your super-human strength?” Virgil thumped his arm. “Ow, a demonstration was not needed.” Best wishes,Nutty(Hah!)
“Why does it always have to be snow? I hate snow.” “It’s only water, Gordon. I thought you loved that stuff.” “Only in degrees above zero.”
Title: No-one is losing their Dad today Author: Gumnut Fandom: Thunderbirds Are Go 2015 Rating: Teen Summary: Exactly how not to do it. Word count: 5,145 Spoilers & warnings: Thunderbirds Are Go S1 Ep1 & 2, in fact if you haven’t seen these two episodes, this isn’t going to make much sense. Interwoven episode tag. Author’s note: This fic is affected by two things. Firstly, it is the first complete fic I’ve written in nearly ten years, so my writing muscles are very much rusty. Secondly, brand new fandom! I’ve only been here for a matter of weeks and I’m so in love with the Tracy boys, it has become an addiction. It has been a long time since a fandom grabbed me like this, and I’m having sooo much fun! This fic is very intertwined with the first two episodes of the first season – that first scene (I love it!), but I felt it had some ramifications, because ouch! So this is a possibly happening in the background of the episode. Also, total Virgil fan 😀 And anyone who knows me from other fandom, knows what happens to my favourite characters 😀 Disclaimer: Mine? You’ve got to be […]
